NoDAPL Defund Banner Drop Event – San Diego

March 25, 2017, 8:30am

This movement is not over! We will continue to support our water protectors and Standing Rock by uniting. We will continue to protect our waters.

Come join us in this nationwide event that will take place in Los Angeles, San Diego, Coachella Valley/Palm Springs, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia. Each organizer will go live on Facebook at the same time as we work in solidarity to drop our banners to show support.

Our goal is to get people to take their money out of the banks that are funding the pipeline and to spread the message that the battle is not over.

Please share this event with friends and we encourage you to bring your own signs. Please note: this is not a march but it is a protest. We want this to remain a peaceful, non-violent event. Please remain on the sidewalk and refrain from foul language and disorderly conduct because you are representing Standing Rock and supporting the water protectors.

Our president said yesterday that he hasn't had a single phone call complaining about the pipeline executive order…so it must not be controversial!

We must respond. We have the divest parade coming this saturday (watch the video to get inspired).

Also, let's take a quick action: Let the president know you disagree with his executive order to proceed with the drilling at Standing Rock.

Our mission is to inspire, educate, and encourage the world to divest from the big banks and their unethical financial investments (NDAP and other fossil fuel projects). Money Speaks and we DO have a voice especially with our dollar! Let's encourage our brothers and sisters to shift their financial investments into banks that have the people's best interest in mind (Credit Unions, Green Banks, etc)

What a better way to ignite the world in a time where arts are being cut from our current government in America and create a new paradigm, a paradigm where we can come together as a community and shine through collaboration and expression.

We are hoping to take the train to the event to use as little fossil fuel as possible!

If you can't take the train meet us between 12:15-12:30 at Bank of America on 655 W Broadway #101, San Diego, CA, 92101, where we will gather with fellow water protectors to start our parade!
